Updated pics of My "New" 318is (Large Pics Inside)

I introduced my car when I first got it and put in a new m42. Thought you guys might be interested in some more recent pics of it. These were taken while in Houston visiting a buddy with the wifey. Nothing really special righ tnow but coming along nicely I think for a daily. Repairs include: new CA's, new CAB's, new guibo, new driveshaft center support bearing, new intake boot, new plugs, and many more little things I can't think of atm. Upgrades/mods include: Blistein Sports, H&R sports, smoked bumper lenses, smoked/deleted side markers front and rear, smoked e39 sidemarkers w/ custom LEDs, euro smilies, euro rear plate filler, LED third brake light, and painted kidneys black. Coming soon: tint, Konig Remembers (black centers), smoked tails, LED tail lights, LED front signals, and IS lip spoiler. Let me know what you guys think of the pics and plans.

Ya the sidemarkers are a love em or leave type of thing. I think they really modernize the e30, but to some modernizing a 20 yr old chassis isn't such a good thing. I tried to get the smallest profile sidemarkers I could find, and the e39 fit the bill.

Not yet. Only some that I took before the euro plate filler and LED third brake light.

LOL an IS lip is definitely VERY high on the priority list. Problem is they are ridiculously hard to find for under $150. :( I'll spring that much if I have to but I'll look around a bit first ;) Next up after that is the wheels/tires. So hopefully everything you guys mentioned will be addressed shortly. Then I'll post more pics with those mods and the LED tails I'm working on.

Yep they blink as turn signals as well. If you have a late model brake light I'll sell you mine and swap :)

Again thanks for the compliments guys... this car is mad fun to work on compared to my e46, though it doesn't look as good... yet. But this one is way more fun to drive too. For about $3100 total including "new" engine and tranny you can't beat a solid daily e30 with only 26,000 miles on the motor. I'm glad the previous owners (I'm the third) took care of it, interior is cherry.

I'm not really feeling the side repeaters, but it's your car. :)

I would get rid of those white clips for the iS lip entirely and just put black ones on when you get yours. If you pop the clips off it will look 100x better and not so obvious that there's something unfinished down there.
