Yeah yeah, I know E36, but I thought you guys should see this. Drop is photoshopped, but should become a reality soon.

If you could get new center cap stickers, and get rid of that funky looking hood, it would look tits...
Hemingway said it best. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely games.”

Yeah man, I'm headed over to the dealer tomorrow to get new badges. I'm trying to get the dumb hood painted body color too. I've been planning on getting coilovers for a while now, this just makes me want them even more.

That CF looks almost photoshopped, but that car looks amazing.

If you can lose the M3 style mirrors and get some CF ones that would really look sick. I don't like those mirrors, even on E36 M3's.

          And a proper photoshoot!

I never liked the CF hood. Previous owner put that on. Same with the mirrors and pretty much everything on the car. I've been eyeing these for a while:

They're only $70 and change from electrodyne. I think it will add to the whole retro DTM/touring car look I'm shooting for. A proper shoot will come when I get time to wash it and get my coilovers.

I like the way e36's look but I don't like the problems that come along with them.

Car looks really good though, I hope that it becomes a reality real quick for you. GL

What problems? E30's have equal if not more amounts of problems to deal with.

Turbines look weird on the E36 btw. But almost in a good way.

What is it going to take to fit and tuck the wheels like that under your e36? Just curious...

Nah, I made sure they were on the right way. R = right L = left, correct? Thats how I put them on.

Since the wheels are et20 and the stock offset on an E36 is et40, you have to run a slightly stretched tire. At the height I want it, you will most likely have to roll your fenders as well. I'm running 215/40/17's on a 17x8.

by problems I meant, headliner falling down, auto trannies taking a shit early, ABS brain decides when it actually wants to work.

you are right there are problems with the E30s too but they arent operational problems just appearance problems.

What suspension setup are you going with? That P-shop looks about like mine on H&R's--

I like E36's. Unfortunately, they do have their problems. I've never had an E30 give me as many problems as the E36. With mine it is just little things wearing out (shock top mounts, bushings, and anything else suspension related). All of the little things that keep popping up are what keeps me from getting my E30 on the road..
