What's up guys, I don't think I've introduced myself over here yet, I recently bought Eric Lukas' (LukasBMW) e30. The car is awesome and Eric is a great guy and was a pleasure doing business with. I can't post any pictures yet because I'm a new member but I'm sure you have all seen the car.

Unfortunately last week I got rear ended by an 06 Tacoma. Everythings going to be fixed, but I have a couple problems I want to fix while its in the shop. The MVR Magnums that are on the car now rub on everything. When I accelerate, when I have somebody in the back, when I corner, etc. etc. Is there a way to adjust the ride height or am I going to have to get some new springs. Keep in mind I'm going to get some fatter tires when I drop the S52 in.

Anyway I look forward to meeting some of you guys, I go to school in Gainesville and make trips down to Miami every couple months.

Off the top of my head, I don't remember the size of the tires but, I'm pretty sure there 205, the rims are 17 x 8.5

Welcome Larry. Good to hear it went to an active enthusiast.

Sorry to hear about what happened, but I'm glad she'll be back to looking good soon.

Ditto on kidney's, I never liked them, but whatever floats your boat.

If I were you I'd get some coilovers, that car with the genuine tech 2 kit deserves them, and you'll be able to play with springs/height so you don't rub. Ground Control are popular, but there are many options out there.

x2 on the coils, and the kidneys.

You can make the wheels work, but with their offset, big rubber becomes an issues if I recall correctly. (Low offset?) Sell them. Or are you the showy type of Floridian? ;)

Congrats on the car! Glad it went to someone who gives a rat's ace. Sorry to hear of your misfortune, but it will be better than before... right?

We're all showy. But I like to race my car too :D It's got the best of both worlds. I agree on the coils part, they are definitely useful. Since the car will be in Florida now, you can slam it and not have to worry too much about hitting shit. Congrats on the buy I can't wait to see this thing in person.

Welcome indeed. I'm very familiar with that car as Eric Lukas is a good friend of mine. I'm glad it went to a good home. Sucks that you got rearended already. I'd get rid of the magnums if I were you. Never really was a fan of those wheels, but with the 5x120 bolt pattern you're open to a world of selection. BTW I don't think r3v has a certain post limit to which you can or can't post pictures. This ain't BFC

I've always loved magnums for some reason.

I would love an ET13 8.5" all round set :D
