I lurk here more than bimmerforums still so I thought I'd share w/ you guys too.

I'm driving ~300 mi from Norfolk to Tech in Blacksburg/bimmerworld tomorrow, and I'm prob gonna snag the lip (its cheap so f**k it) on the way up. Thought I'd get a few before its gone w/ my point and shoot.

Autofocus sucks ass and only 4 came out where the car wasn't a complete black blob, so here ya go.

*Oh and thats a mk3 gti lip btw - $40 on fleabay











SO the car made it up and back and then some this weekend (792 miles total), and now I am lipless (to most everyones satisfaction), and glad to be outta the corbeaus and into the desk chair for a bit.

That lip doesn't go with the car at all, but to each his own. Looks way out of place.

I'd have to agree with everybody else here about that lip. It doesn't fit the car, in style and pure fitment...it just doesn't work. That's probably something I'd agree with Jordan with, because if he wasn't banned I'm pretty sure he'd tear you up for trying to fit that on there. The curve is close, but isn't even right itself.

Oh well. Otherwise, the car looks nice.

it's hard to think of mine as being much nicer than an e30, especially since it's cost me the same as an e30 in every aspect so far.

and w/ the lip, saw it done once, had easy access to one, so i thought i'd try it out. hopefully (after motor mods/swap) it'll be m3 up front anyway.
