My intro, and a re-intro of Thelma. Lots of pics.

So, this past weekend, i flew out to New Jersey to purchase my brother's, ZMBlueDevil, E30.

    At O'hare airport Friday morning @ 6:00a.m.

    Arrive to NJ @ 10:30

He obviously removed a few of the items he had on the car, but that leaves me with some mods to do myself. His other car that's up for sale as well.

Kishg's track car. Stock except for Mark D chip and 19# injectors. Wow, what a difference. Car is handles amazing and is quick to boot!

He took me to Vlad's first thing to check out his rides. They were very nice, but failed to take any pics, but you've all seen his rides anyway.

Saturday morning, we drove out to ZM's mechanic, Jeff's house. Kishg met us there in his new M3. Jeff is a wealth of BMW info. His iX btw is immaculate and has a great sound and alarm system.

From his place, we drove out towards PA. They stuck with us for a while.

An hour into the drive, the M3 started bellowing smoke. We thought he blew the motor. Turns out it was just the belt that snapped and coolant was sprayed all over. Contacted a local parts store and we were back on the road within an hour.

mmmmm ///M power... Glad it was still alive and well

They made their way back to NJ and we continued on the western PA where ZM's '01 touring is in storage in his brother in law's house.

Had a video of the tunnel banging through the gears but it had too much wind noise.

Touring unwrapped and ready for another season. This thing is immaculate. 19,900 miles, M wheels, Dinan upgrades. I like!

Peace out brudda. Thanks for the E30!
ZM heading back east and me making my way back to Wisconsin.

    4.10 lsd cruising.

WV and OH came and went. Not fast enough.

Fast forward to a foggy downtown Chicago.

Back to Milwaukee, nicely tucked next to the CRX.

Thanks for looking. I have a few things yet to finish on the motor swap in the CRX, so i won't have anything new to do to the E30, but expect some good things to come in the near future.

ZMBlueDevil, thanks for the great price. I know you gave me the family hook-up on alot of parts.

    P.S., a little foreshadowing:

    Just need to get spacers.

Not surprised your response had a jab at my Honda. It's all good.

        JasonC, you are correct!!
BTW, we did alot of research of those Kamei fender spats you have. Can't find anything on them other than that they are called spats. So, unfortunately, you're gonna have to sell them to me . OK?

Just playin. I'll figure something out.

I've seen that part of I70 way to many times.

Is that what they are called? I've been calling them wind splitters. I've only seen one other set for sale and they was on ebay.de and went for $150usd. I have seen that they made them for many other cars from the 80's. Like 3rd gen F-bodys,1st gen Dodge Daytonas,VW Rabbits, Fieros,Celicas, and Maxamas.

Ive spent no less then 12 hours online in the past 4 days looking for these items. Kamei made them for the e21, it also came on the e9 CSL as a part of the race package... Im sure other companies make them for other companies, but OE is Kamei... This maybe one of the most rare parts ever. Spat away...

Lost the brand new iS lip last night to a pothole. Wasn't even on for a week.

                        to milwaukee roads.

Gay, I know how you feel. I put on my rieger lip and the next morning was in portland at funk's shop and we pulled into a parking lot and broke the lip in half completely.

Ouch. Yeah, i'm not liking this feeling. It's payday, maybe I should go buy something.

I'm actually planning on the Rieger lip now. But not before i swap out these race springs for sports.
