If he cut H&R race springs then that is common. There are 2 dead coils on top and by cutting them it lowers the ride height without changing the spring rate. This is only for the fronts.

How is the ride now compared to before you cut the springs?

Cutting the springs cant be much shittier of a ride than some of the aftermarket springs you pay good money for these days.

Looks hot though oddly enough. I like the rimz

Actually, it is a bit tamer than the pic, I enhanced the bright mode a bit since it was taken with a bit of cloudiness...sunbrust gold is the best looking color I could find, BBS gold nothing compares in auto store paint cans.

The Bilsteins are night and day compared to the Tokico's or OEM, just absorbs the bumps solidly, by the way hate those carbon fiber sticker sills - haha
(will change my headlights if you remove them)

I think the same headlights you had before in chrome you also liked until you got flamed by the S14 guys. You were my inspiration.

                    See you soon!

Yup, does not affect the ride aslong as you do it right and not overdo it. As long as you have it sitting on the mounts correctly.

Many other guys do it in their M3's because the lowering spring available are very mild, if anything 1.25 maxed unless you do $2k coil overs!
