Yup, a little bit of overkill

    Blue - ECU
    Brown- Gauge
2 on the thermostat, one for the dual fan, one for AC cut out.

As for the intake, yes the hose isn't the best looking but it's the best of the worst ;) A silcon coupler would be too stiff in my opinion unless it was very thing. This motor moves around a lot!

Nice work, Chris. Can't wait to see it again this year at the picnic, your car is always one of the ones I look forward to most.

    I disagree...

    Bay looks KILLER dude!!!!

I think the little flex hose thing on the intake kinda ruins the schexy streamlined scheme. Maybe a black silicone coupler?

Looks excellent though dude keep it clean!!!

This could easily be done in a weekend but I had some parts issues come up so it delayed the final assembly.

It's getting closer to being track ready, but not sure how much money/time I'll have left for it after the house remodel this summer :P

The radiator is from Bimmerworld, $539

The mounting is the Spal quick mount (zip tie style). BW recommened it for mounting and said they had no issues with it on their race cars. I'm not sure how it would round the fins causing a leak as it's a snug fit when they are inserted into the fins (the horizontal fins, not the main vertical ones that transfer coolant). I guess we'll see how it holds up :)

The 13" Spal fan is the narrow one, 2.05" 920 CFM

If that fan is mounted to the radiator using plastic style zip ties, get them out of there!!

I have seen them round out the radiator fins and cause a leaky radiator, no bueno!

    Engine looks great!
    Love the CF intake mani!!
