Nah then I'd rub the fenders. My Koseis are too wide (15x8 ). I understand that wheel width doesnt have change the tire width, but for whatever reason my tires are close to the metal on both sides.

15x7 probably would have been better, but the 8's were convenient. Besides I dont like spacers. At all.

those koseis are 15x7 et38. stock ix weaves are 15x7 et41... so these will stick out a minimal 3mm more. Mystikal will know more on what tires will fit... maybe 225s?

I think you can grind the caliper down to stop the grinding, correct me if I'm wrong.

DUDE I dont want to do that I need smaller spacers.
the spacers I have right now are 1/4" thick by 160 mm
and the ones I am thinking of replacing them with are 4 Lug 5/16" by 152mm

Check out a tire calculator before making a purchase, you will be glad you did so the speedo works the same and since its AWD you might aswell just get 205 or 215 so it is still agile and tractiorn isn't gonna be as much as a problem and 205 would be thin enough for winter not that you would rock those wheels in the winter.

cant you just have the spacers cut down to the same diameter of the rim ?

You need Hubcentric spacers. those are garbage spacers that they give you for free at Les Scwabe..
