It's gotta stop sometime, but now is not that time... I bought another set of wheels ;)
Some of you may recognize them from the "What wheels are these" thread in which no one could figure it out.
I bought them figuring they were Work Equip Centers on BBS barrels, which would be a unique and rare combo.
After doing some hunting, talking to friends, and knowing the right person, I have discovered they are far more awesome than what I had thought. A friend of mine called someone he knows at BBS NA and they went through some back records and the like, and here's what I know:
They are a Work wheel designed and made by BBS that never actually made it to production. From my understanding, it's the original Work Equip prototype wheel. It's 1 of 14 sets ever made. Extremely rare, very unique, and undoubtedly valuable. I'm pretty excited to have them, but I don't know if I'll roll on them. They're rare/important enough to be coffeetable material. I may throw them on every once in a while for pics/meets, but I don't want to risk driving on them daily.
Onto the pics:

I bought them intending to run them on e36, which will they primarily be for (which is close to completion.. this month is my deadline :)). The tires I'll mount on them are 195/40/17 Yokohama S-Drives for a stretch and poke. They're 17x8.5 et13 from my understanding, but there aren't any markings to prove it. If they are, I'll run 20mm spacers on the car to make them poke. ;)
