    Brought back to life

Just thought I would share today's progress with you guys. The red e28 is under-going a total paint restoration. It began cloudy, dull, and almost flat-red in some spots. We got step 1 of the buffing/waxing done today, with a huge thanks to my friend Matt (owner of the toyota corona I am always posting).
Today we cut the surface with a cleaner wax and a wool pad.
Tomorrow we should be doing a cleaner wax with a foam pad to take out the swirls and such. Then we'll be soft wax with the foam pad. Finally, we'll be applying a carnuba(sp?) wax by hand.

    Here are before pics-

    And after-

    I'll post updates.
Tomorrow Erik (Bimmerteck) and I should be starting up my dad's 32 Ford Roadster. We pulled it out of storage a few months ago, where it had been sitting for 15 years. My father basically asked me to get her back up to snuff. I'll post pics of that aswell.

That looks really good. I have always had a thing for e28s.

              Clean car.

Damn they're both pretty clean. That looks more like the front of a really old model Nissan Skyline.
