My father is the guy who bought this car from you. It now resides in Northern cali with him, completely repaired. Everything has been fixed. Not only have the dents been fixed, the entire front end was overhauled with Euro ellipsoids, french fogs and a completely repaired and resprayed front spoiler. The headliner was redone as well as a rear interior panel which was pulling away (bad glue). The car recently recieved a service 2 from LJ Independent. All brakes are new, although are not the drilled rotors that were on the car; those were eating pads up and were no good for street use. He also just had the stereo completely rewired. Apparently the components installed already was pretty nice stuff, but the wiring sucked... So thats all been done.
The car is super fun to drive! Its on rails and receives tons of looks. We'll have it in Monterey for the Historics weekend at various events.
After Monterey comes more power.
Cheers,

When did it go up to NorCal? I swear I saw it at the Feb BMWCCA auto-x down here. Unless somebody else has a black Alpina E34 around town.My father is the guy who bought this car from you. I tried contacting KSK a while back i wantted to do a E30 Alpina C2 replica, but they told me that they only sell parts for original Alpinas. In other words i would need an alpina registration.sigpicComment

The conversion was done back in 1990 for the E34. A shop called Alpina/AMG conversions did the work and they had special connection to KSK. Besides the only thing you can't get is the motor, interior and digital display. Everything else is available.sigpicComment

As I said before, we'll be in Monterey/Carmel for the Historics weekend with it in August. We'll have the car at Concorso Italiano and the races.
We've sourced a few parts needed for bringing the car back to spec from KSK. The woman who handles the day to day business there was nothing but helpful. Don't know why you would have had any problems. She helped us get exactly what we needed.Comment

Yes !
That was my ex-car.
Bought it new in 1990, titled under my friend's name before I had CA Driver's license. Change the pink slip to my name in 1991.
Sold it after finishing grad school in 1995.
I bought all of the Alpina parts from KSK from Keith and Susan Kruser. They were totally helpful. I bought Alpina badges, *gold* stripes, 3-spoke steering wheel, wooden shift knob, floormats, keychain, 8.5x17 and 9.5x17 with Yokohama AVS, etc. The reat seat headrest was ordered form KSK also.
The original B10-3.5 front spoiler was damaged then changed to the B10-4.6 front spoiler (with brake ducts).
I started using Alpina FE5-E34 suspension, then after a year I felt it was too soft. Changed to Euro Bilstein sport kit which made them lower and stiffer, Dinan front and rear stablilizers. I installed Racing Dynamics front strut brace, Dinan chip, LSD and higher final drive (forgot the number I think it was 3.64:1 or 3.73:1 vs the standard 3.46:1). The stereo was Pioneer Premier 900 with ADS PQ20 power, ADS speakers, Rockford amp for subs and 2 ten-inch free-air subs (ADS I think).
Sold it @66Kmiles with the solid black paint still shiny.
All the receipts from day one in august 1990 were complete.
Can I see recent pics please.
