Worked on the interior some more, replaced HVAC panel and installed the shifter(illuminated) and the Alpina shifter/brake handle boot.
Installed the Euro plate filler along with new roundels front and back.
Threw on the German check panel for good measure.
I started on the outside... clay-ed and started the wax/polish process on the hood and trunk. Hoping the darn pollen stops so I can work easier without getting the surfaces covered in yellow dust.
starting to wish i hadnt put the iS spoiler on my trunk.
That's funny. I like mine until I see the clean lines of one without, and then I regret it. Makes me think I'll just have to get a spare trunk for the off-days. ;)

That is funny cause i stopped at that last picture and looked at it for a while before seeing these last two posts. I think it needs a spoiler. Looking forward to pics after the bumper swap.
So, how much and where for the new trunk roundel?? Metal or plastic?
Could not find blue, leather, no piping headrest so I took a set of L6 Lotus white headrests and dyed them factory blue(leatherique is awesome, big fan of their stuff). Looked really good but now the new headrests didnt match the rest of the car, so I took all the seats again and redyed all of it.
Also put in a spare e34 radio I had, Alpina boots, shift knob, took the vents out to clean...
The wheels should be done this week, Euro bumper being powder coated this week, mt1 front valance at the paint shop. The rest of the goodies should be here early next week, hope to get her done by Memorial Day weekend.
What do you guys this of the L6 headrests... I bit larger then the e30 headrests... Maybe it will help cut down the wind:p so I don't have to get a wind deflector.
not a fan of the head rest. It looks rear heavy, because the head rest is bigger than the front and wider. Just my thought. I would just look for some blue headrest to match.
What would happen if you swapped the headrests back to front? Since the front seats are taller anyway, the size difference wouldn't be as noticeable.
I tried that, the ends on the headrests are different, they wont fit without use something to open up the spring on the clip. Easy to do on the rear since its exposed, on the front id have to take the back seat cover off, didnt want to do that.
Its headrests... Good enough for now, Ill keep my eyes open to see if I find matching ones down the road.
