Busy day...

Still no real camera so here goes the cell phone pics.

First the parts I took over.



Making room to work... Openned up the hood and while at it replaced the hood shock.

While Jeff was working under the hood I started on the inside. ECU coming out for the chip replacement.



Stock Injectors out.



Mark D Chip in...




Timing Belt, all the hoses, belts and water pump ready to come out.



The only place there was rust... After sand paper clean up and rust stop I taped and painted the rust proof lining paint. Also intalled Battery Tray.





New Injectors ready for install.

now on to the shopping list, after some of the basic maintenance was done we noted couple of other items which needed addressing. So off to the Toy Store.





I would love to be locked up in this place for a weekend. Every German OE item you could think of... and then some.

Back to the shop with the parts.




New Radiator is in.





Head Bolts replaced...




Exhaust coming off, old fashion way.

Its in north jersey, no retail only whole sale to the shops/dealers. Ive known my mechanic for a while so he takes me with and I wonder the isles like a kid in a toy store.

Thanks for all the comments, lot of input, parts, and insight from members here.

Its sounds great, nice and calm during normal driving, with good aggressive sound when you get on it. Hope to make a sound clip when I get my camera back.

You're gonna go through "modding" withdrawl once you get all these parts installed.

Talk about Pimp my Ride. You're about to do in two weeks what takes most people months or years to do. And its on a mint chassis.
