Definitely. Aircraft stripper is mostly methylene chloride, which is, on the list of solvents, pretty friggin dangerous. It has been linked to cancer in lab animals. On a small project like the lower rear valance, you should be ok using a cartridge respirator appropriate for use with solvents and forcing air through the work area.

Not correct... Organic vapor cartridges are not effective for Methylene Chloride. Ventilation (dilution or local exhaust) or an SCBA are your only friends. Respirators are for escape situations only as they don't provide any long term protection.Definitely.
