I've been thinking about getting an E28 myself. They look really hot with an Euro trim.

I have begun work on this car, and in the end it will be quite a nice ride.

The seized motor turned out to be a bell housing bolt on the transmission (auto) that backed out and slammed into the torque converter. The engine itself was fine (albeit quite worn)

I have completed the first part order, and have decided this is how the car will go.

Stock OEM suspension rebuild (may maintain a lower ride height, not sure), All features will work (Heated Seats, Air conditioning etc.)

For drive train I have decided to rebuild the motor completely, and create a 2.7I Stroker motor (Super ETA bottom end, I head) with a 173 ECU and 17.5LB Injectors. 5-Speed Getrag 260, and a 2.93LSD. In terms of appearance, I am going to locate euro headlights and grills, and eventually locate an mtechnic (or similar) body kit (oem of course) with euro bumpers. The appearance portion is of course down the road quite aways, but that is the end result.

I do not plan to completely tear this car apart like my mtech, however expect a similar range of quality on the entire build. This car is meant to be my cushy daily driver, with all luxury features working.

Looks like a fantastic start James.

The 2.93 seems a bit low, no? I'd say a 3.46 (or even 3.25) mated to that engine and tranny combo would be yield some slightly less sluggish results.

Seems like you will do an awesome job no matter what, and definitely keep us updated.

Looks like a nice car... You should swap a b35, pretty cheap and they are fun in e28's.

Is that sterling silver or lachs? The wheels would be awesome if they were bigger too, BBS bugattis?

I am on the freeway 90% of the time, so I am looking for a nice highway gear :)

I'll play with them and see

Looking for a nice MPG gear, no need for extra power.

I am debating wheels, they are BBS bugatties. I believe it is lachs, have not looked at the code.
