The vert is being wet sanded/buffed and polished right now (will post some pics later)
PS Went to Pocono raceway yesterday with the NY Sport Bike, we had a blast on the track, one of my friends brought $75k Ducati Desmocedicci along with his 998R
aside from the real MOTOGP race prepped Ducati, I never heard anything scream in such anger

the 998R is trully an awesome bike, kind of like very limited edition e30 m3 EvoIII ;)
It was actually a little faster around the short and twisty Pocono north course than the ultra exotic Desmocedici RR (with 220 HP it had no room to stretch it's muscles)
fun on the track
back on topic
the car is being buffed/polished

I rode my friend's GSXR-750 which was semi-ready for his next race (less paint), the bike still needed some work, it broke at the end of the day with blown alternator, it just died in the middle of the race track and I had to push it to get out of the way and then wait for the tow truck to pick it up and bring into the pits. My Bike (Kawasaki ZX7-RR) will be ready for the next track day 6/24/08 as I am waiting for a few race parts.
I don't have any pics of me on the track (because I was the one taking pics with my camera) except for these 'pirate copies' from the photographer's website, sorry

your upper body positioning looks kinda wrong in those pictures. you might want to try putting your chin over your hand in order to get your upper body down and away from the centerline of the bike.
i know this is unsolicited, and you probably already know this, AND i am constantly working on my own body positioning at the track, but i thought i would throw in my 2 cents
looks like fun though!______________________
