That E28 is in desperate need of a drop in the front though :D

I can't wait for my Euro center console to get here...I can finally get rid of that stupid US center console for my A/C that is no longer exists ;)

Because, in the E28 the evaporator and blower fan are in the center console, it is by no means a space saving unit. Mine was about 1 cubic foot, can you imagine that under the center console...lets just say it isn't easy to take out. If you ever get to look inside of a E28 w/ A/C, look through the little grills in the center console...you'll see the back of the blower fan.

Some people who have Euro cars that weren't equiped with A/C have retrofited an aftermarket A/C system that is much smaller because they want to retain the nice look of the non-A/C console.

OMG that pic caused memories to flood back. It was like I was getting my old 535iS. Sold that car at least ten years ago. Didn't miss it then, but I sure do today.
