I like the azev's better on your car. Wider ronals on a lower e30 they would look gorgeous, but those ronals just look odd for some reason on your car.

This is the car that convinced me to buy the R10's. I see now in the pics he suffered the same thing I am going through in the beginning. Not low enough in the front... looks like it was corrected. Either wheel I stick with I will be dropping the front down. Waiting on the skid plate.

I love the r10's on e30 when there done right and the car is super clean.

Yes, YOU'RE 16's are hawt, but for me less than 17" is a waste, mainly based on tire choice.

There is basically shit for 16" tire choice when it comes to 16" badboy sticky street tires.

I saw those a lot on the vortexer cars when I had my project GTI, which of course I didn't finish and bailed out to focus on my E30 project. Anyway, the Schmidts are quite similar, but there's something different, and not just the rim bolts, that just don't do it for me. I'd often wondered why the low offset Turbos hit my nerve but the Schmidts didn't.

They make those... they are called Schmidt TH Lines. They don't make 17" 4x100, but they make some nasty staggered sets in 16".

LOL, I'm that guy with frickin' Sportmax at the moment, but you know the Style 5s are going on with the M3 5-lug.

Even though I just bought a set of balla' ass 17 x 8's, I know a few guys in Tulsa who are CAD/manufacturing guys, I may look into some 17 x 8/9 custom made Ronal reps with a tiny bit of lip.

I'm pretty sure it would be the absolute most badass set of wheels you could put on an E30.

I'll dissect this further. The Ronals would be more period on an earlier DB car, as their peak was around '85. I ran them on my '84 GTI... in '86, and I bought 'em used then.

The AZEVs hit their peak in the early '90s. E36s and E34s were the Bimmers with them, and often on 911s too. So on this car, I'd go with the AZEVs. Besides, those Ronals appear to be the ones with too much offset. I had the 15x7" lower offset ones, deeper with more dish, on the GTI.
