I know how you feel. Last year i went outside my apartment to find my E34 smashed on one side. I spent 1300 of my own money to fix it. Two months later I woke up early in the morning to go wash my car. When i walked up to it. It was smashed on the same side. Decided to cut my losses and sell the car. I put 4grand into it, and sold it for 1K.

Sad to see that happen. But sounds like it gave you the motivation to do something big.

from what i know is damaged its about $1700 worth of parts. it needs a whole new nose piece, radiator support, radiator, headlights, grills, and little things.

my thoughts exactly, i had 2 car spaces in front of me, yet the yellow jeep still hit the bright red bimmer that he supposedly couldn't see. luckily there were witnesses.i was at graduation and when i got back this is what i found, at first i thought my hood just popped open.

Only you know what's true. It just seems very hard to believe that someone could hit it hard enough to push back the core support when they were just backing out of a parking spot.

If that's the case though, I'm sorry; that sucks ass. I would be pretty pissed if someone did that. You say there were witnesses, so did they get the tag number of the vehicle that hit it?

do you think he hit me on on purpose, and i could use the bent core as proof. i have no clue what to do, and i dont know whats going to happen to my car. i was about a car length away from him

No way that is totalled. Chain the radiator support to a tree and back up to pull it back out again. If you just replace all of the busted parts with factory ones for now you could probably have it done for under 1k.

if its totaled im rebuilding it perfect. as long as i can get $3000 i can redo everything w/ carbon fiber hood and paint, ill do an electric fan conversion while im at it. whatever weight i dont need wont be added. and i'll have myself a little red rocket.

hey, ive been reading around, and i guess that replacing the rad support requires welding which i dont have tools to do. so should i just tie a rope to the rad support and pull?
