Drift Event Pics - InTunedOnline

So my trip to WA went sour, and I was ridiculously dissapointed all week. Since I prepared the car for a 3000 mile trip, I figured I might as well just attend a drift event with it before I left to CA.

Day didnt last long as I had too much fun too early, and when someone in front of me slowed down to much, my front wheel hit his front fender/bumper, claiming my front driver's side control arm.

I got to slide a Miata on nitrous though, and that was quite an interesting experience. :p

In any case, here are some pics:

I gotta be pretty thankful. That's quite a lot of pictures for a car that only had like 4 runs in total.

Also, tomorrow night (9-10pm est) OctaneTV will be releasing their new episode on Drift Scene, which will be my 5 minutes of fame. Funny (or sadly) enough, the first thing they put on the preview is me crashing, and saying "I crashed". :p

But we'll see whats up. I'm anxious to see it :D

In the end, Elliot decided to head out a day earlier, my car took longer than expected to finish, Jon gave up altogether since Elliot had left earlier and my timing was not the same as his, and I felt somewhat the same way. I had to drive 3000 miles in less than 3 days solo. I'd have to speed to make up the lost time, and I wasnt ready to get 15 speeding tickets and possibly a night in jail somewhere in hicktown trying to make up time.

I contemplated flying, but since most of my west coast trip was planned for Cali, I just bought a plane ticket to CA instead. Hopefully next year the picnic will be even bigger to make the trip further worth it.

you should wait til later in june to go to cali!! Dude i dont know if you are on ziptied... but the ziptied all star bash is going on june 28th and 29th. fucking GNARLY event at horse thief mile which is part of Willow Springs Raceway. You get to camp on the track too and there is a fat party that night. It would be sick for you to come!

Pretty damn badass, sir. I was SERIOUSLY bummed that you weren't able to make it out to the PNDUB this year. There's always next year.

Dave, I was trying to get footage of the motor while drifting around. I saw it on an e30 and decided to give it a shot. Didn't work out so well. I put the hood back on to drive home. :p

There was another e30 out there, from a girl who just started attending drift events. Oh, and a mustang as well. Otherwise, all else was from Japan-land.

If someone is willing to give me a ride to ASB, I'm willing to go check it out.
