It will protect it fur sure. I wish you could have seen mine before I mounted it. They are very well built and pretty thick. They could easily stand up to those pieces of gravel and would definitely put up a fight with bigger rocks and maybe even a curb or two!!

Thanks for the kind words. The sportmaxes are still here, but I took them off because my fronts on the 002s were 185/60/15 @33psi while my rears were 195/60/14 @50 psi and I was still understeering like hella, so I borrowed the homie Chris Castro's front wheels which were 225/50/16 at 31psi and that setup was money yo! I had to roll my fenders a lil bit more to fit it without rubbing as much, lol.

can't wait for the vids too. i have to get them from that guy who owns the white e30, edit it, and post it up 'cuz they don't know how to do that stuff, hehe. make sure you take photos of your drift event, :D

LOL, surprisingly that i was still able to drift my car, but it was easier making it go sideways to the right as seen on my photos than it was making it go sideways to the left due to a bent frame, lol

haha, nah, their actually EuroStop USA's ESM wheels that are pretty much replicas of those Rotas, but their 16x8 ET3, I think, and they are wrapped with 225/50/16, so they were pretty meaty and it held up, haha

LOL, yeah, he only had stock sway bars and some kind of strut bars off a Honda or something, haha. the other e30 had more body roll. the funny part is that the white e30 had coilovers, but had some wack ass struts/shocks which all are being replaced per my suggestion to them if they want to continue drifting... i only had lowering springs and kyb shocks, but i have the IE 25/22 mm sways which helped hella 'cuz i didn't get as much body roll as i expected, :).
