Fucking love the car man, especially the color. Everyone says that burgunrot is ugly, but screw them. I have the 80's Tuner car love as well (Schnitzer S5) and a good friend of mine has a Hartge H5S.

What if any parts are you looking for to complete the Hartge Authenticity? I'll keep my eyes open if you let me know.

            Good luck with it.

            Ben

Thanks Ben! I think the only stuff that I need, Hartge wise, is the side skirts. I wouldn't mind tracking down a euro gauge cluster either.

So by "bar" in your Aussie speak you mean "Valance" an our U.S. lingo? You are speaking on the portion of the vehicle mounted fore of the front wheels, below the front bumper, housing foglamps and such.

                      Yess, i mean front valance.

'89 H26 US version front valance (bar), this car also has plastic bumpers - the version B2702 shows for the H26 is pre-facelift with metal euro bumpers. It is probably an 85-87 car.

This is an 87 Hartge H26 (bone stock) but has the front valance that B2702 shows on his H23 car as being correct. This might be due to cars with a/c got the valance with more openings/cooling space (Ryan's) & no a/c got the valance with fewer slots (Ned's). This would have held true when they started making the H26, as the one pictured has the valance with fewer vents.

That front bar is for a H35, its very similar to mine but that front bar is not ABS plastic, its made from fibreglass and was a complete front valance with the bumper bar moulded into the valance. They made them like that so the front end is lighter for the m30 motor.

Mine is ABS plastic, and original Hartge, the valance is separate from the bumper.

It is not really lighter than the Euro bumpered cars setup, since this setup retians everything original on the front of the car, with the addition of a plastic airdam.

I think your saying that bumper is on the car in error, it should be on a E30M3 H35? Yes, it is one piece & fiberglass.
