So here it is....the new ride!

'88 535is in Lachssilber, many mods, won't bore you. Car isn't perfect, but is very very decent. Runs solid, not as quick as the E30 was, but it does have four doors. Handles pretty well, fun to drive for a larger car. It reminds me much of the E30, just bigger. Yeah, the exhaust will be replaced at some point, most likely w/Supersprint system. The steering wheel was recovered, and it looks amazing. The shift boot to match is on the way. Will remove the star covers as soon as I get the tool to do it (can't find it locally). Forgot to get some underhood pics, but it's pretty clean, boring, but clean.

Proud papa and his new baby :D:

and m-technic most likely, sans the side skirts.

very VERY nice car. This is the kind of car that makes me want to buy an E28.....

                  Nicely done.

i think M contours are an E36 m3 wheel. those are throwing star covers over m sytems iirc. that steering wheel looks incredible! just get euro bumpers and it would be perfect.

                      Not contours, M-system "throwing stars". Forged, 17"x8" w/Goodyear F1 GS-E3s 235/40-17 x 5 wheels. I love 'em. Put 'em on Giles' E30 M3 last night, looked hot!

Don't know the guy, but his "handle" on mye28 is "the artisan". The wheel looks fantastic, I was blown away. Mason is sending the shift boot as soon as he gets it, also by the artisan and supposedly stitched to match.
