    Intro, my 318is! [56k unfriendly]

Hey guys, I'm a new member to the board! I'm already part of the unofficial bmw board, but I was introduced to this one and joined. I just thought I'd introduce my car, ;).

She needs a little work, but it's too fun to drive, and yes, I do need to change the nasty gasket sometime soon. 61k miles is a blessing, but also a curse because of that one problem.

I've chipped her with Jim C. and a drop in K&N. Planning on getting some lowering springs/sport shocks, 15" basket weaves, ate power discs, and the proper IS front spoiler. Also, a repaint sometime soon... Anyways, I'm glad to be here, and here she is:

nice car you got there. You should come to the BFc mountain drive this sunday. A group of various bimmers carving the mountains all in the name of fun. They will be meeting at the perimeter mall...

I thought you were talking about not being able to see the pictures. Maybe I should have checked for a comma. Yeah, it's just a name. Hamann is my favorite tuner, but I wasn't even aware they made anything for the E30?

What time on Sunday? I work weekends, but if it's late enough, I might be able to go.

Looks great, the 318is is an awesome under rated car. Amazing that it has such a small amount of miles on it.

Give it a good detail and wax and post some more pics. And hang around, R3V really is the best board for E30 owners.

BMW knows their metallic blacks, and I love the color it is right now, even though it is fading. BUT! I'm going to repaint it, and Diamantshwarz is the color I'm always going to keep. Previous owner probably didn't care about the paint, and I've probably waxed it more times in my few months of owning, then in the rest of it's life. ;) It's kinda shotty, but oh yes, I will have awesome looking paint someday.

Put getting real headlights above the other mods. Hate to hear about another clean E30 smashed into pieces.

I HATE sealed beam. But I'm kinda thrown by all of the choices around here. H4/H1 conversions worth it, or should I just get the ellips?
