    My $700 91' 325I Cabbie

Well I went and finally got the title and keys to this cabbie I have been looking at. I think I got a fucking steal of a deal. Snapped timing belt, And hail damage to trunk/hood, And a broken front bumper, Also needs a rear window. But the top is perfect still. The guy said it was very well taken care of, Even with the snapped timing belt. The main reason this is a steal is I have my whole 87' IS sitting in my driveway... So I already have a motor and trunk/hood. It will get all the regular maintenance items first, Gonna bring it back to near stock. Then ill be upgrading everything, Nothing set in stone yet... I have another project car im building with/for a buddy that is taking my time now so this will be on the back burner. But I was so excited from getting the title and keys and a few pics I had to post. The guy had it posted on Austin Craigslist for $1500... I got there and talked him down to $700!

Anyway, I think I got a sick deal. There will be alot more pics on Saturday when I get the car to my house for a cleaning...

I am VERY excited to get started on this, I have wanted a cabbie since my first E30. Oh and ALL the damage to the car(Hail dents, Both windows, Bumper) Was all sustained at one time while the PO scrambled to get off the highway during that huge hailstorm that hit San Marcos recently. Wow, That would have sucked bad. Said he was going 75 down the highway and BLAM it hit....

          Gotta love dem deals! hahaha

The bumper got damaged when some guy in a truck was trying to squeeze under the overpass he was hiding under during in the hailstorm.

Glad to see you're going to restore rather than part it out.
