    My new 89 325i

This is my first BMW. I owned a Jeep Cherokee before this and always wanted a standard BMW so I finally bought one. The car has 130000 on it and is very clean. I just got it but so far I replaced the broken left headlight, fixed the abs light by adding a new fuse to the relay, and added keyless entry from the trunk. It drives great and got 27 mpg on the first tank of gas I tracked.

            Congrats!

Make sure the timing belt/water pump/drive belt service is up to date on it.

x2 on getting that timing belt done. Only reason not to is if you have paperwork of when it was last done and its recent. Otherwise, DO IT! :)

Nice lil stocker! Get rid of that cupholder! ;)

The previous owner's records show he changed the timing belt/water pump/drive belt at 120,000 miles so I think I will be okay. I did change the O2 sensor/spark plugs/oil after buying it though. The left rear shock was shot so I put in new rear Bilstein shocks today and plan to change the front ones soon too. I picked up a 13 button OBC I need to install as well. I am not a huge fan of the bronzit beige color and plan to repaint it black.

looks great!! as already stated, lose the dtm muffler, get some tan sport seats, and i wouldn't paint it, leave it stock or make that one of the last things anyway. congrats!!
