    I think it's gotten excessive...

I posted this on s14 but figured I'd toss it up here too. Here's a telltale sign that I've completely lost it...I was looking for a 318is to daily drive. I ended up with this...

125k, dinan cam gear, conforti chip, borla exhaust, racing dynamics wheels, and the rest is stock. Unmolested and cared for. One small incident with a motorcycle caused the rear bumper cover to be replaced, but all other panels are original.

Repainted somewhere down the line, paint is no longer perfect but not too bad. Supposedly there is a lifetime garauntee on the paint and from the sound of things(talking to the painter), I should be able to get a few things(mirrors, rear wing) touched up even though I wasn't the owner at the time of the paintjob. I also get to try my hand at upholstry soon as you can see the split seam in the picts.

There are some minor mechanicals that need attention...some medium sized oil leaks, a short in the tps wiring at the connector that causes the idle to run high occasionally, and a little basic maintenance that needs to be done(e36 tensioner is on the list, as is cap, rotor, etc). Car passed smog with flying colors and runs great though. The motor is strong.

                    It's still a 16V DOHC 4 cylinder, it's kind of like a 318is!

Haha no. I don't have to answer to a misses, so I'm still free to make irresponsible decisions.

It's actually Zinno, but yes, I really dig the Red.
