Engine -> Cat -> Resonators -> 2.5" straight pipes?

Or did you replace the whole entire thing and get the cat reinstalled? It sounds awesome. I got straight pipes on my other car but without any resonators. What do the resonators do?

engine --> 2.5" pipes --> Cat --> 2.5" straight pipes --> two resonators in place of the muffler.

the resonators make it so it isnt ungodly loud. it is a daily driver after all.
