looks like an old supersprint catback
erik doin another bmw or a copper dub this time? ...that car would have been so much cooler if it had something under the hood to back up that stance ...which he used spacers to attain :???: - i appreciate the paint and the attempt, but that car really isn't worth as much attention as it garnered.Comment

Although I would have liked more under the hood, it would have been useless... the car was at the ragged edge of drivable at that height, and well, I liked the MPG the ETA gave me. As for not being "worthy of the attention it garnered" that's your opinion, and that's fine. I personally don't think 99% of the E30s out there are all that special. Hell, I even told the editor of PBMW that I didn't think my car was that big a deal.
I won't be doing another patina-related car... but my buddy Patrick(who helped me with the paint on the copper car) did his Mk2 GTI in a bronze that patina'd black. He let it go natural and with the rain and fall leaves it came out pretty damn cool. Much more subtle than the E30. That car had a VR6 swap in a cleaned bay with an LSD/six puck clutch and was pretty damn violent.. . .
