Help: Fuse keeps burning and car will not start with out it.

Hi guys,

Looking for the e30 crowd for some help. My fuse keeps blowing out and it stops the gage cluster. Its the 7.5A fuse #10 on the diagram.

I am doing some trouble shooting and can't find the problem. Only thing I can think about why this is blowing is from the HID fogs that we just put in, but those run on their own separate fuse which is fuse slot 29 and 30. So, I am stuck guys, car won't turn on until I keep replacing the fuse and it will blow out in the while I am driving, which really sucks when using the AC and its super hot out here in Cali.

If any of you guys have experience this problem, please chim in.

Here is an update, after a couple of days and lots of trouble shooting. We found that, it is a loose wire that was touching the heat shield where the tranny is at. Every time I would shift to 3rd it would touch causing it to short out.
To make a long story short, we hand to drop the tranny and close up the exposed wire.
