Um. Sir, where is your rear bumper? I see it in some photos, but others I do not.
I got a fender roller now! LMK if you need me to roll your fenders or want to rent the tool from me locally.

I am using a Buddy Club seat with Massive Side mount brackets. Hands down the best seat I have ever sat in (that is not FIA approved). If you are tracking your car and cant do the FIA Approved budget, the Buddy Club is a must. It might be annoying for some to get in and out, so for daily driving, it might not make the best seat.

But when you are sitting on it, you are in business. :)

My car actually caught fire and it burned the rear bumper bad. I had to take my whole rear end apart to try to find a leak, but with no luck. We figured that I must have spilled some gas on the 1/4 panel when I was filling up in the morning (5am, tired as hell) and the heat from the tires ignited any gas there.

Some pictures are before the incident, some pictures are after.

Picked it up just now. Kinda dissapointed to see that it expires this year though... not sure if I read you mention that :(

        But otherwise it looks good.

Yeah, it was fun (/sarcasm). Someone showed me a picture at the track, but I'm waiting to see it online. The whole 1/4 panel was engulfed in a flame.

By the way, I dunno how tall you are, but I'm definetly 6'2" and that's how low I sit. :p

I am about 6 foot and I feel like I can barely see over the dash in e-richs car. I am used to stock fat people/sport seats.

Just how annoying are Buddy Clubs in a daily? Like I'm going to have hemorrhoids by the time I get to the 7-11 annoying, or my car is slammed and can't clear speed bumps but I still drive the fuck out of it everyday because I don't care annoying?
I would LOVE to feel like a midget in my car. (6'4") Totally get the wide size, too....

Edit, did you put the massive sidemounts on the floor, or on the E30 brackets? How much of a difference will that make, heightwise?

I love it, personally. But I can tell it's not for everyone. The main trouble is getting in and out of the seat. You sink into the seat as the bolsters are ridiculously tall. Even with the little padding that it has, I still think that the Buddy Club offers one of the most comfortable seating positions ever. I was going to drive to WA State on this seat.

Right now the most I drove is two hours and I had no problems with how I sat.

I am bolting the massive brackets to the factory e30 sliders. The seat works perfect width-wise and needs no spacers/bushings like the FX1 Pro needed.

By the way, I'm at the medium setting on the Massive brackets. I could go about 2 inches lower if I wanted to.

cool, sounds like my kinda seat. So you can still move it forward/back. You just can't recline. Guess you get used to that, huh?
I'm scared that I would buy the wide and I wouldn't fit, though. (Okay, so I need to lose some weight!!) I'm 230. (big boned, srsly)

You can recline it as you'd like, it just takes bolting and unbolting the seat. It's not even as bad as it seems: The Buddy Club has two mounting holes, so you can recline the seat somewhat by simply undoing the two front or two rear bolts, and reclining the seat to a different position on the Massive bracket.

As for forward/backward movement, you use the e30 sliders, so no worries there. Mounting is a bit tricky at first to get it right, but it can be done. Truth is, once you find your sweet spot, you wont be moving the seat at all.
