I know what it needs!! Get some old paintball guns, mount them on the hood, and use some servos out of an RC car to fire them. If you want to get really fancy, put them on a motorized gimbal with laser sights so the passenger can aim ;). That would be AWESOME!!!

Oh yeah, where is your bike rack? I'm working on mounting one over my trunk for my bikes (yes I want to decrease visibility). I assume you ride BMX..
