well i went to hot august nights and came back to find my car covered in tree sap, this morning it was fine now its sticky. its too late at night to wash it, what can tree sap do to new paint, its just little dots everywhere. i guess it will have to wash it in the morning. its not even the tree near it thats sappy its just the wind blowing it on the car.

the Derek tip:
Layy a warm water, soapy towel over the sap for a bit, then wash. It is supposed to help soften it up for easy cleaning.

the sapping trees are elm trees, my house has too many trees.

Tried taking off your center caps? I am strongly of the opinion that it will look tons better.
Also, I hate that period right after you get your car painted, that every time someone/something touches it you freak out. I like having scratched, faded Alpine paint - I don't really care too much anymore :DComment
