    H&R 25mm spacers = et -5

So Jeremiel5 gave some H&R 25mm spacers cause the were not thick enough for him (he's running 30 and 35mm) and cause they are partially stripped out and i have access to a machine shop. i have 16x7 et 20 maxxim remembers. So first thing i had to do was grind down some spare bolts i had laying around so they would be flush with the spacer. if your car has eccentric trailing arm bolts and you are running the correct alignment these are way to thick. If your car is dropped and has the normal xtreme camber our car exhibit then these are perfect.

    proper camber side

    non corrected camber side

H&R races with spring pads on a high arch car. Not much i can do w/o coilovers.

OMG - STANCE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN HANDLING eVAR!

Lowering your car too much can make body roll worse.

I just want my car lower in the front, maybe a little in the rear, and I also want a better quality suspension setup.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. I was agreeing with the thread starter that lowering more doesn't increase handling (backing the original poster)

Looks are fine, I love my ride height and I love my handling. Looks aren't everything to everyone and handling isn't everything to everyone. I'm taking no side... I have both :pimp:

This is the most body roll my car has ever seen. ST sways are at the softest setting in the rears. I prefer autoxing without a rear stress bar cause it makes the back end to firm for my Nitto Gens. I need that little bit of body flex until i get better tires or make my custom link extensions. I remember reading that the earlier e36 m3s had a staggered stance which created to much under steer. My car over steers under moderate acceleration and i was wondering if pushing out the rears would compensate.

hmm, im glad i have a late model so that me rear looks lower. im also glad i switched FROM ground controls to H&R race for DD use, coilovers on the street FTL. the only thing GC are good for on a street car is adjusting the stance to make the car LOOK good.
