Loving that Schnitzer S5, I believe I saw it at last year's 5erFest in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

That Calypsorot E34iT looks pretty ill man. An S50 should slot right in there with relative ease I would imagine. In regards to the seats, E34 M5 seats and E34 540i sport seats are the same IIRC. Remove the rails (unless you're the outdoorsy folk,) and rock some M-System I's and that'd be a pretty hot family car.

Thanks dude, appreciate the compliments. I know visually that the Schnitzer isn't up to par, but it is very mechanically sound. You saw it at V@V '08 this past May. I remember because you posted a picture of it.

As far as the Touring goes, I am so rocking the M-System I's. I've always been a fan, just need to find some and the covers. As well as seats, looks like I may be converting the interior to partial black. As for the S50, the only thing I have planned now is 8.5lb flywheel, 24lb. injectors, 3.5" MAF and chip. Should be good for now.

Ah, okay, yeah I knew I saw it at one of the two events. That Touring should look very nice with some M-System's on it, maybe even a mild drop as well. The lightweight flywheel and injectors (Mustang?) should be perfectly adequate.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for some System I's.

Yea that Touring should look real nice with little work. Drop that motor, plus a nice drop with wheels. you got the perfect color too.

                  found you an engine:

If you want, you can just box up that S50 and send it my way as a finder's fee!

                    A M70 would be nice for a E34 touring.

I would do an M5 front bumper. Put that S50 in there with 5 spd swap. Ground controls. E39 Style 5 wheels. Clean the paint up. Sport seats. Euro ellips. French fogs.

                        /thread.

                          Updates!!!

S50 is waiting to go in, just waiting for tranny x-member, throwout bearing, & pilot bearing from the Euro Depot. Also random bolts & seals from the local dealership. Decided to go with 21.5lb. Pink tops and a 3.5" MAF with a chip for decent power. Gonna use the stock exhaust for now, but may upgrade to a supersprint unit soon.

Pictures of the car, workspace, etc. :)

That should be seriously fun in the iT. What's the story with the M10? Is it 2002-bound?

Haha, yeah. If I had more time (and money) and didn't want something as reliable, I would have boosted it. Hoping to have it ready in a couple of weeks. Euro Depot has been a PITA to deal with in regards to sourcing the all 5-speed stuff. Had to keep on them about getting all the shit together, and I'm still not sure If I'm going to be on realoem looking for random bolts.

Yes, the M10 is 2002 bound. It is supposedly a Korman Stage III or Pete McHenry built, former owner couldn't remember, but the engine was pretty hot. Big bore, stock stroke, running forged internals, 11:1 Compression, big valves, Schrick 304 cam, and 45 DCOEs.

My dad bought a '71 2002 and is having it done by Sports Car Restoration in Plantsville (soon to be moved to Plainville) CT. The car will be colorado/black combo with turbo flares. Some of the trick suspension will be a modified E30 rear subframe to use any E30 diff and 325i disc brakes, as well as adding about 1" track. Also E3/E9 control arms to add a good bit of camber up front. There is more planned, but can't remeber off the top of my head. This is a 3-4 year long term project as well.
