    My afternoon

All was good though... AAA has my car on file lol. I not only got the flatbed they use for exotics (Ferrari's/Lambo's/etc), but the AAA driver recognized my car from local shows :p

Has anyone had issues with the driveshaft bolts? It's the 2nd time that I shear them clean off the tranny flange. The first time it happened, it seemed like one bolt fell, and the other two couldnt hold the driveshaft together.

To make sure I didnt get them loose again, I loctited the f*ckers when I put the new ones in. Well... it happened again today. I lost the bolt in Miami yesterday... started feeling the vibrations again.... and the car almost made it home... breaking a few blocks away.

    Go figure.

And I got a new job starting tomorrow, so no more free time to go fix the car *sigh*

    Fun day tho. Ish. :p

What's this flatbed like? Does it like have zero angle from the ground, so you don't hit your lip or exhaust? I want to use one of those sometime!! woo woo! Glad you got it home ok! :)

          Rear looks better :)

Or it will when I get a chance to clean it up. All I need is a rear bumper and paint. And a certain someone here sends me my euro plate filler. :p

+1 on the stronger bolts suggestion. How's your guibo? is it possible that some how there's play between guibo and diveshaft?

What grade are the bolts that are on it presently. Chances are they're Grade 8's, I think the tensile strength on them is 110k psi. Since you only need 3 and you want to be sure they don't break you can go grade 12's which won't break for sure.

The bolts I picked up off the floor. I ordered them through the dealer because of how precise they have be in length. The car is sitting outside my buddys shop tonight so I will check tomorrow morning before work.

awsome, did you cut the hole in the rear valence so you still have it's use?

Otherwise you dont really need to cut it out.

I had a similar problem with my turbo m20, check to make sure the rest of your driveline is in good order, (diff bolts loose? csb good? ujoints good?) I ended up putting a new driveshaft in and never had a problem again.
