The black carpet is a myth... I wish i had the black carpet...

You are correct... JHB stands for Johannesburg...

    Thanks for the compliments guys!

I will be picking up a set of BBS style rims this weekend... Will post pics of what it looks like with them on...

I dont think i would be able to let go of the alpina's though... I think i will just hold onto them for my next e30 project...

Hey guys... Picked up a set of gold BBS RS reps... 16" 7.5j ET25...

Contemplating if i should use 10mm spacers in front and 20mm spacers in the rear...

Dont know how it would look though... Im sure i would have to role/pull my fenders?

        Here's a pic...

What do you guys think... They are very similar to the ESM Reps... Its branded as Lenso BSX here in South Africa...

Wish i could get my hands on a real set of BBS... Very hard to come by in these parts... Will look around... I might just strike gold...lol

          Oh... Almost forgot...

Added a set of sport seats to my interior... I think the cloth is called "Uberkaro" or something like that... This cloth came standard from factory on our South African special 325is's...

I don't mean to alarm you but someone put your steering wheel on the wrong side.

Hot seats, can't wait to see the wheels installed!

Ok guys. Did the 5 speed swap. Cant say it went smoothly but it eventually got there. Went through 3 gearboxes, 2 driveshafts and a whole lotta $ to get it done.

Also installed my leather dashboard but not really feeling it so got my old dash repaired and gona put that back in. I must say, the dash install was really a pain in the ........!

Havent had a chance to put the bbs reps on but that should go on in the new year. Decided to change the colour of the interior from black to grey so will post pics once i put the new door cards and get the seats recovered.

Decided to go with a set of smoked hella smiley's as well. Will post pics once i get the car back from the repair shop.

                Awesome work,
-black bumpers: most e30s had color coded bumpers as an option, even the cabrio in my signature came with black bumpers. This being said you do mostly see them on standard 316/318/320.
-black carpet: it exists, I've seen it on a local f/s ad, not sure what car it came from though
-Ubkerkaro II: awesome! Came in 318is and euro spec m3s
-Leather dash: send here please ;-)

to the op: Een heel knappe auto met de Alpina velgen..

                  Thanks Julien
                  Much appreciated

The dutch language is very close to our afrikaans so i could make out a few words.

It does look good with the alpina's... Thats why it has taken me so long to fit the bbs reps. I dont know if they would suit the car as well as the alpina's do. I was thinking of redoing the seats in grey leather but i am second guessing myself as the Ubkerkaro cloth is NLA and i think it looks good as is. Just need to to mend the passenger seats as it has a small hole on the bolster.

If you were close by you could have taken the leather covered dashboard. I really dont like the look of it. I might have a few pics of it installed. Will post some soon.

Will be getting the car back in the new year so will post lots of pics of the progress. Once the cosmetics are done then the real fun can begin with motor.

I retrofitted Anthrazit uberkaro to my 325iS Evo 1 :D

What size tires are you going with on the bbs reps?

                            Thanks guys

@ Motorsports, Was looking at getting some 205/45/16 tyres as i kinda like a little stretched look but im considering widening the rear wheels with an extra 1.5" lip making the rears 9" wide. Will most probably run 225/40/16 in the rears if i do widen them and 205/45/16's in front.

Btw, tow hook will be coming off very soon. Its on my very long to-do list. I hate that thing but havent had the time to take it off.

Ok. Just a bit of an update.

I had a friend make me some smoked headlights using the HELLA template but we put angel eye rings inside the headlights as well. Personally i hate the way they look with the angel eyes as you can see the rings and it takes away some of that smoked look.

Anyway, here are some pics... Smoked my turn signals and blacked out my grill as well. Let me know what you guys think....

Dont mind the rest of the car... Its really dirty as it has been sitting in the workshop for 4 months with transmission issues.

Before blacked out grills with angel eyes on (Second Pic)...

                              After...

Oh yeah... Running my alpina's capless as well. What you think?
