Bled the brakes with my ol man the other day, and took the car outside for some sun and a spray down to remove the dust.
Just waiting for my bumpers and the shadowline to show up.

Update Sept 2011
Got around to painting the bumpers and installing the door trim.
Still have to install the bumper moldings but I'm filling the side lights so may be a bit.
Fixed a small rust spot I discovered in the rear quarter. No biggy. Cut out old welded in New.
Pulled out of garage extremely dusty.
Rinsed it off:

Are you still going to sell it??
ow! Let me know if you want to sale the cargo cover and net...Comment

I haven't decided. I'm either going to mount it to the bottom of the bumper but not sure how I'll like that or I'm going to cut the filled area of the rear hatch and flush it in where it came factory.
I'm not scared to cut and weld so either is a possibility.
If anyone with a touring could post a straight on shot of the rear so i can aSSes that would be much appreciated.Comment

Thanks, I'll have a look tonight at the hatch. If I do cut and weld in the spot I'll make it so it fits the NA sized plates.
I still have it foresale althought the more time I spend on it, the less willing I become to sell. Don't need to sell, so if I do cut the hatch to fit the plate it will be a keep it choice as I can't justify spending the time doing it right, only to sell for the undervalued price I have it listed at (in my opinion). If I do keep it and continue to tinker with it, there is no way I'll be selling it anywhere neer the price I'm asking now in the future.
Man that's a nice looking touring, love the wheels.Comment

Good luck with that! ^^ it seems like a very extensive job... It has to be done right.
My touring needs a lot of work... Just did a fresh paint job suspension is next.
Thanks!Comment

Well it seems more complicated when you write it out, but I could probably have it done in about 8 to 10 hrs.
I've gone over the car numersous times and removed any rust. Surface rust was cleaned up and then por15'd. Any substantial rust such as drivers side floor was cut out and new metal welded in. I have a small hole in the front left firewall which I'll fix when I pull the carpet again.
Problem is the more I go over it, the more things I end up doing.
Well the paint job makes it look clean. Mine came with Bilsteins and lowered on springs I can't identify. I bought h&R race, AKG bushings, UCC sway kit, etc. Sold the springs and sway kit though when I decided to move the car.
I'm also converting my front windows to manual. I might also do the sunroof. I think the retro simplicity is cool.Comment

It's back on the road. Sitting low on bottle caps.
Swapped the window mechanisms over to manual and will be swapping the sun roof also.
pics to follow.
Most likely will drive it this summer and enjoy and test the waters next spring/summer as it will be eligible for legal import to the states in 2013.Comment
