My new eternal project- 85 eta.

Ok, when I picked this up three weeks ago it looked like this.

Now I have tucked the bumpers, painted them black and put on new wheels. Now it looks like this.

I'm putting an iS air dam and new bumper trim on as soon as it gets here. I also want to put the iS lip on the trunk lid. I'll be doing the body work as time permits.

Mine don't look like that when tucked...well not that extreme. Just a little gap, but not a wavy.

              Did you lower it too?

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

The plastic was wavy like that when I got it, don't know how it got that way. I plan on getting new plastic soon. I haven't lowered it yet. I will soon!

ugh noobs...the plastic is wavy like that because of sun damage. nice improvement now replace those bumper surrounds and it'll be real clean. you can pick some up at a junkyard for next to nothing and it will be worth every penny.

Nice improvement!! WHats up with the lights? Is the cross section bent?? That blows. I may have some of that trim left over from my 325e metal bumpers and if I do they are brand new and were only on the car a few months at the absolute most.
