True dat. I ran shotgun, auto-x in a 1st gen with the top down, nothing quite like the feeling of screeching sideways like in a tiny communicative roadster. I'd love to have one as a second car one day though.

Mine's going to have one, I'm not shoving my board in the backseat anymore. My last trip up to the mountain, I almost cut the fabric in the backseat, right after I got my edges sharpened.

The 911 was a 75 Carrera, silver coupe (no sunroof), 2.7 litre motor, original Fuches(sp?), small oil leak, some bubbling from rust on the bottom of the divers doors. I think the dealer was asking like 9K for it. I live in Southampton, where people spend money like its going out of style. Apparently the guy who bought it brought in the 318 to have the clutch replaced for his kid, found out how much it was going to be to fix it and what an idiot his son was and decided he'd get something for himself instead. I was angry at the time, because I was going to drive the 911 for possible purchase a couple of days later. The 318 was the consilation prize. If you ment the one I drove, it was a purple 95 Carrera 4S Cabriolet I believe. Only got about four minutes in it, much more power than anything else I've ever driven. Too much car for me, but an awesome experience.
