    The New Ride

DISCLAIMER: I know this is not an M3. I will never call it an M3. I did not put the M3 body on it, I bought it like that. I know that I have an 89 325i.

Well, now that is out of the way, time for the good stuff. As some of you saw in a previous thread of mine, my '89 Alpine was wrecked by a Kia on Memorial Day this year. I had the car for about 3 weeks
    prior to the accident.
this is what she looked like when I bought her:

This is her after the accident:

Totaled. I spent the next 2 months fighting with the insurance company, because as you can see, this car was far from stock. The negotiations basically started out with them telling me that they could buy my car all day long for $1200. I sent them $8000 in receipts for the car, they still said that it was all general maintnence. After sever phone calls that verged on threatening, I received $3003 for the car, and I got to keep it. Now starts the fun part. I went to a local garage to get an estimate on my car, like what it was worth, and turned up a new gem. After a month of work, She is finally done. Right now I only have a couple pictures, but here they are:

So as you can see, it looks pretty damn close to an M3. I ended up putting a shitload of work into it. Right now, the specs are:

    Supersprint exhaust
    H&R Sports
    Bilstien Sports
    IE sway bars
    Drilled and slotted rotors
    Hawk pads
    Black Leather Cabby interior
    Chinese Headers
    No Cats
    Euro Grills
    K&N Filter
    4.27 Rear End :(
    M20
    5 spd

So basically I took everything out of my white car and transfered it into this one. That includes swapping it from an autotragic to a 5spd. Motor, tranny, interior, suspension, brakes, and wheels to name a little.

Let me know what you think.

Oh, and before anyone asks, the car on the left is a '95 M3 with an S52 converted to OBD1, and the car on the right is a '69 2002 with an S14 under the hood :o

put an s5x in that and youll be set.

throw up some better pics of the widebody conversion, interested in how the rear looks without the M3 c-pillars and trunk lid.

Whoever put that m3 badge on the 2002 needs to be kicked in the balls

Let's all put e36 badges on our s52 swapped e30s.

Regardless, the kit looks good. Is it glass?

Nice find! Agreed, throw a nice motor in there and your set.

I want one of those with my power plant but satin black.

Well, that was a lot of responses pretty quick-like. The kit is glass in teh rear, with dot-r fenders in the front. I picked my racing dynamics spoiler up from paint today, should be going on tomorrow or there abouts. I am from Amesbury, but I go to school in springfield. And about the cats... It's who you know ;)
