Ever get up to Joe's EZ pull in New Ringgold? I was there last Monday and they brought in a 85 with sport seats. It had 2 passenger side seats, but they were in decent shape.
Luke-as long as it doesn't have any, or at least minimal, rust then a good solid shell can go a long way into making a nice E30 again. To be honest-you have a LOT of work ahead of you as well as some cash outlay-but in the end these cars are worth it.
I thought at first you were talking to me!

damn, i really dont want to to have to get a new tranny. because then that also means i need a new clutch as well.... :( the reverse proble, just started today.
looks like one hell of a project. just pick up parts as you see them in the classifides, and as the car dictates (i.e. the tranny going bad). mine was not quit that rough a year ago, but close, now it is my daily. keep at it and it'll just keep getting better.

thanks a lot everyone. this is my project but yet it is my DD. my plan is to fix the trans and do the timing belt and water pump next. And i guess im just gonna go from there.
the body looks to be straight, thats what really matter in my opinion. Is there any rust/corrosion?
The front bumper can be taken care of easily from a junkyard with a replacement, or cleaned up with replacement rubber form the dealer. Paint the nose of the car and it would look 100 times better.
The seats you can have re-done or find replacements (which are not too hard to find). Carpets can be cleaned. Interior parts and trims can be attained easily.
