I'm going to assume you didn't mean to put the decimal in there and are talking $275 flat rate for the whole job.
You drive a hard bargain good sir, but I'll take it!Leave a comment:

Sounds like you need to do some side work and paint my car to finish all these projects you got going. ;)

I almost bought that car after Tim brought it to the s14 sigfest few years ago, I loved it, the car was really awesome !
Also, I can't believe the prev owner let the car go that far, I mean it's number 95 of 500 and only a handfull of these in the US, how can you do that to the car? Hmmmm... but I guess, in the end, it all worked out good for you ! Restore it and enjoy it, it's an awesome car indeed, I love them, must be one of my top 3 favorite BMW models !Leave a comment:

We could start a "Paint Tavern Gnomes Rare BMWs" fund! Unfortunately for him, I'm broke too (just dropped a fat wad on shit for the 6)... Who's first?Leave a comment:

Haha well thank you. Not a whole lot to update. The whole drivers side of the Hartge is all fixed and in primer. I would like to have the whole car completely resprayed within the next couple of months. The Alpina is on the back-burner until I get the Hartge more squared away. Unfortunately Im not rich so this stuff moves kinda slow. I'll update again soon I promise!Leave a comment:

I'm glad you have these cars because you'll actually use them instead of hiding them away from the world in some mammoth garage. Now I regret not buying the Hartge even more. I love the color of it too (reminds me of another car I used to own). I should have sold my damn lexus and bought up the Hartge and then restored it. Blah, ok ok enough shoulda woulda coulda :)Leave a comment:

Terd, Mike lives in GA. Has to be the same car.
Nicademus, Nobody can give me official Hartge numbers. I have read the built 12 or 23 H23s. Those numbers could be completely wrong. Performance Plus imported 5 to the US. How many are left today? Who knows. Not many.
There were 500 Alpina B9s built. Mine is number 95. I believe, including mine, there are 4 or so E28 B9s in the states. Maybe a couple more in collections hidden away.Leave a comment:
