I almost bought that car after Tim brought it to the s14 sigfest few years ago, I loved it, the car was really awesome !
Also, I can't believe the prev owner let the car go that far, I mean it's number 95 of 500 and only a handfull of these in the US, how can you do that to the car? Hmmmm... but I guess, in the end, it all worked out good for you ! Restore it and enjoy it, it's an awesome car indeed, I love them, must be one of my top 3 favorite BMW models !Comment

Mate that is a great looking B9, if you need some infos on B9 E28, one guy here in France is a specialist, he restored one, baught a second one, and he knows all about B9s E28, he also speaks english. You can contact him, tell him I refered him to you...He can give you so much infos about B9s.
His name and Email on MP !
It will be very nice when finished...
As you are an Alpina owner, also you will have no trouble to mpurchase genuine Alpina parts from the factory, they allways ask for a proof of ownership, which I think is to keep Alpinas authentics.
By the way, a good set of those seats you have in your B9 worth aroune 3000 Euros in Europe ( around 4000 US$ ) so make sure you keep them in really nice and clean condition !!
Anyway hope you restore it soon, it will look gorgeous.
E28 rocks ! ditch the Hartge thing and concentrate on the proper Alpina stuff !! :p:p:hitler::D
Cheers from afellow Alpina owner
