    New M50 exhaust setup

Well i got a new custom budget exhaust for 200 bucks and got it mounted up. this is brand new about 5 miles on it. I think it sounds abit like an e46 m3. Give me your opinions on it i would like some input.

Try and guess what the setup is!

ps:dont mind the redline bounce i was learning my indicated redline

sounds good, but to raspy for me.
What are you using for exhaust.

stock manifolds to 2 inch dual to 2 dynomax resonators for the midsection to a dual in/out flowmaster super 40. God i hope the resonators break in and smooth out.

I like and it is abit raspy but maybe after the break in it'll sound nicer?
        2inches all around?

Yup, 2 inch o.d. from manifolds back.

Hmm, I kinda like the raspiness a little bit... But I have a feeling it would get old real quick.

Yeah, I had a M50 swap that had an exhaust that was:

              E36 manifolds -> E36 downpipe -> 2.25" piping -> 18" Summit Racing glasspack -> Dynomax Super Turbo

and it sounded very similar: LOUD and unrefined. When I went underneath an underpass I'd goose it just to hear the rasp.

                Sounds pretty good.

Not sure I'd want it for daily driving, still good though.
On my 318ti, I had Flowmaster 50 series and it sounded pretty similiar to yours. It smoothed out a whole lot over time and became V8'ish at idle.

i was watching the video and thought perhaps you went back to the muffler shop for an adjustment between passes. but then i fell asleep. how did it end?

Could we get some more pics of your car, with a better view of the fender flares? They look cool.

It ended in me getting pulled over Tonight for having an exhaust too loud:-(

Just a verbal warning, the cop was right behind me at a red light.

I'm thinking to switching to a quieter muffler like a 50 series or dynomax. suggestions?
