Hey y'all
Last week Jordan and I finally got the chance to put in my KYB's and B&G springs. Less than 2 hours start to finish. Damn, what a difference! Blown out 230,000 mile bilsteins seem to lack the whole wheel control thing. The car came down more than I wanted, but still looks pretty hot and it hasn't scraped on anything yet, not even the air dam. The drop was supposed to be 1.6" front and rear, but ended up more like 2.1 on the front, 1.8 in the rear. Maybe the math freeks could tell me exactly by looking at the photos.
Jordan took pics of the wheel gap running a 205/50/16 on rice wheels
If you are looking for a comfortable ride with excellent handling, I can heartily recommend the B&G's. The KYB's are obviously weaker, cheaper, just kind of crappier than the bilsteins, but are a huge improvement in my case.
Hooray!
Thanks, Jordan. See you when you get back!
