Two Tone: Opinion wanted..

Alright, so I clayed and waxed the shit out of the ride today. But these fucking bumpers are a totally different color, Im not sure if the plastic just ages differently. Its really ridiculous. I was thinking of painting the bumpers black like Spiff's E30 he sold, but going another step, and painting the car black from the side mouldings down. Itd be a perfectly straight line, as far as I can tell. I think itd definitely set the car apart from most. That way I wouldnt have to worry about matching reds if I repainted the bumpers, either. Then maybe some black or gold remembers would set it off. Im dont spending money on my obsurdly large reef tank, so I can focus on the E30 again.

What do you all think?

I normally don't like two tone, but on the other hand I love red and black together and think this could look really cool. Your car looks really clean too so its a good platform to work with. I say do it.

Do some measuring and make sure it's a straight line. If it's not it will look bad.

I think he'd want to paint the whole bumper black if he did it. Like the top and bottom of it.

I think someone else did a e30 two toned like that. And it made look like the lower half of the car was missing.

hmmmm, I dont think I like that as much as I thought I would lol. Got skills to tint the windows black and throw black or gold remembers on it? Maybe itd look better with the roof black and the windows black too. Or Im just going too far here lol. "My version" of photoshop isnt working anymore for some reason.

It kinda makes the car look less low. I already wish it were lower as it is.

the two tone needs to be along the upper seam of the body and the colors cannot be so contrasting and even then its semi ghetto unless its done extremely tastefullly and the car has to be very well sorted mechanically.

I think you may be right. It reminded me of the piece of shit two tone hondas and trucks in the valley. I'll just have to splurge the $300 and get the bumpers painted. Maybe I'll get some sort of "body kit" also, especially since my rear valence is done.

I kinda like that Emotech car. It looks cool IMO... 10x better than the bottom black looks.
