I only see three options here

    1. It was REALLY REALLY foggy when you were taking those pictures

    2. Those photos were actually taken sometime in the EARLY nineties (circa 1990-92)

    3. You are in desperate need of a new camera - you spent some money on that paint, spend a c-note on a new digital camera?

someone put a blue pinstrip just above the blue part, so there is a blue in the white and a white in the blue.

                how would that look?

I like it. I think we need some different schemes in the e30 commmunity, and you are doing precisely that. I bet you all will shut right up if he throws a set of rs's on it, hehe.

I like it with the white pinstripe. Either way - it's your car. To be honest when you came on here I thought your car would never go anywhere. I'm really impressed by your progress.

It's different not my really my taste though, if you painted the entire car that blue it would have been tits. Props on the HUGE amount of progress you've made on this car though, definitely alot more than i've made on my car lol

I sense some brother/sister marriages happening out there.

But I like the paint scheme...different and clean.

So yeah, back on the paint scheme:

I like the suggestions of white stripe in the blue, definitely like the idea of white wheels, no matter what they are, they should be white...but here is a suggestion on the pinstripe: Use a tapered stripe, about 3/4" in the rear, tapering down to 1/4" in the front, just a small stripe. Do it in silver, or even silver/blue pearl, maybe even chameleon paint...just a bit mind you...but obviously, you are looking for something different here than most guys are. I know I don't care for two-tone, but it isn't my car!

So go ahead and rock something different, but do the best quality of work you can. Don't give up now!
