They are more rare than leatherette, real leather, and some might argue even rarer than houndstooth. But, this plaid is certainly OEM. I've seen it on a handful of NA spec E30s from 318iC to 325iS
My car is originally black leatherette, but I got both front plaid seats from a Japanese-spec 320i Cabrio:
The cloth is called UBERKARO II and is factory on e30 m3s and 318is in europe (and maybe some cabriolets)
Great lookin car dude, whats keepin you from rockin those wheels?
I need more cash to finish them. I need lips, bolts and tires.
Thanks for the comments. Last weekend I jacked the car on blocks for the cold season.
Next year:
-new front insert (Bilstein sport)
-new springs (probably H&R race or some 60/40) (I'd like coilovers but it's pricey) (APEX sucks, they're very soft)
-tranny oil change
-diff oil change
-new fuel filter
-custom airbox setup (cone filter sucks a lot of warm air)
-I hope I'll have the cash to refinish my 16x7,5 and 16x9 AEZ Paron (two of them need straightening) (I'm not able to find two 16x9 :( )
Update ! New shoes and all window detinted. Next steps: 2 new control arms and CABs, fix a rear fender who suffered from fender rolling and shaving the booth spoiler. I'm planning some coilovers next year.
For those wondering the wheels are BBS RS001 8.5x15 et06 and 9x15 et00. Tires are 195/50/15 all round.
HOLY EFF. I want RSs right meow. That looks incredible! Needs moar low however. I think you should run 225/45/15 if you can find them. They won't reallllyyyy stretch but they will be sick as fuhhh on those wheels.
P.S.- Please take those eyebrows off. IF you fail to do so I will have to remove those wheels from your possession.
I tweeked a little bit the colors of my pictures. They're better now.
Sorry euroshark but I'm coming from the VW scene and I'm loving the euro stretch/poke style.
Sorry for the other guys but the eyebrows will stay on the car. I don't have an euro grill and I love the aggresive look they give. I'm also surprised how you guys, from the BMW scene, are so straight. This forum looks like VWVortex 5 years ago when the first stretched tires popped and everybody was saying that it's dangerous to run them. I'm dreaming of a more colorfull BMW scene in the years to come. It's outragous how the cars in PBMW are dull compared to those in PVW. I'd like to see a slammed E30 rolling on wide 14" Schmidt TH-Line with stretched 195/45/14 tires running a Weberized 24v. My thinks are hard to explain because I'm not writing in my primary language but I'm sure you'll understand. ;)
However, put some real fucking tires on. Stretch is retarded. If you have wide wheels, you need wide tires, otherwise all you have is extra unsprung weight and the same narrow tires. If you have 8.5in wide wheels and 205 series tires, you need to be smacked and have your wheels taken from you.

I mean I love this forum but i find myself soooo much more entertained on vortex. I mean no offense to anyone but I find the VW's on there soooo much more unique as people on this site always have either GC or H/R suspension (for the most part) and some RS's or some other common wheel. The VW guys I think are just not afraid to do something different unlike many of us here.
