Yeah, I was expecting 3rd. I lost some points for them of course, but I have a milage bonus of 1 point for every 25,000 miles (to help equalize garage queens from DDs)
            so 212,000 = 8 points
and I had nearly perfect scores in paint and engine.
interior was another down fall but it wasn't too bad.

Im kinda confused on the scoring...

If its concours, would you receive any deduction for the painted valve covers/manifold since that never came stock?

They are just judging on how clean it is. You don't lose points for aftermarket wheels, painted valve covers etc.

This concours is also relaxed in the sense that the undercarriage isn't judged at all.

exactly, the rules are very clear that they will not deduct points for modifications as long as they are performed and perform cleanly.

If this was was the case the seats, street bar, intake mani, valve cover and after market deck would all count against me.

My undercarriage is pretty fucking clean though, I would be ok down there.

I want to take this car to a national BMW concours. Not trying to place there but im just very proud of all the work myself, my dad and everyone who helped me build the car over the years (crivy, derek, kohl, kruzen, etc.) put into it. I will have better pictures soon, the car looks pretty different now.
